Custom Handmade Greeting Cards and Invitations for any occasion
Welcome to KareKards!
“Give the perfect card every time” has been my mantra from the beginning. Based in Vancouver and working from my official card-making studio (aka kitchen table at home), I can help with whatever your card desires may be. KareKards can be customized for any occasion in any way - add a name, phrase, age or a photo, the choice is yours!
How did it all begin? Back in 2008 on a cloudy November day, I woke up one morning and decided I wanted to make all my Christmas cards. It only took a quick trip to the dollar store, a longer visit at Michaels and a few hours for me to realize how much fun I had making cards. Regardless of it taking me two hours to make just one card (don’t worry I’ve gotten faster), I fell in love with this new hobby.
With the encouragement and support from friends, family and coworkers, I was able to turn my passionate hobby into a mini-business and my cards are now sold in local retail stores around Vancouver.
My late Grandmother played a big role in helping me grow my hobby into a business. We had “factory nights” where she would make some of the components while I put cards together. The boxes I still have of her hand-folded cards and hand-tied ribbons continually remind me of our teamwork together and inspire me to continue making cards in her loving memory. “When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure” – Unknown.
Feel free to browse through my collections and email if you have any questions! Also, you can contact me for a complimentary consultation if you are interested in ordering custom cards or invitations.
Thanks for checking out KareKards!
